Presidential elections to be held on the 22nd of November
Presidential elections will be held in Romania on the 22nd of November 2009, the government coalition decided. The second round of the elections is to take place on the 6th of December.
According to the actual electoral law, the politicians who want to be president of Romania shoud stand as candidates to the Central Electoral Authority 30 days before the date of the elections.
The Government Coalition has already established a set of measures to prevent electoral frauds.
