Romanian power group Tender to send home up to 500 people by year-end following the financial crisis
Tender power group (GET), controlled by businessman Ovidiu Tender, will dismiss some 500 employees by year-end because of the economic crisis, and plans to close partnerships in Europe, Russia and U.S., said Peter Eisenkolb, the manager of a company which administrates GET. GET currently counts over 2,300 employees.
According to Eisenkolb, the group's strategy focuses on several directions: raising sales according to the vast production capacity, closing long-term partnerships with equipment producers in the power and environment fields, slashing costs and hiking the productivity.
The Tender group activates on four business areas: petrol and gas, industry, infrastructure and real estate.
