Number of available jobs in Romania climbs by 913 in a week to 11,270
The number of available jobs by March 19 advanced by 913 versus the past week to 11,270, as there were more offers for both undergraduates and graduates, the labor force agency ANOFM announced today.
Most of the jobs are in Bucharest (2,243) and in the counties of Dolj (731), Constanta (634) and Brasov (546). The counties with the fewest available jobs are Mehedinti (36), Bistrita-Nasaud (60), Alba and Ilfov (62).
Out of the 733 positions for graduates, 200 are for engineers. Brokers get to choose from 144 offers, accountants from 49 jobs and generalist medical nurses from 42 offers.
Undergraduates receive 10,537 offers, most of them in the textile industry.
The unemployment rate climbed to 5.3 percent in the second month of the year and the number of jobless people increased by 32,953, announced ANOFM at the beginning of the month.
