Maximilian Nicu got the Romanian citizenship and could play in the national soccer team of Romania
The player of Herta Berlin, Maximilian Nicu got the Romanian citizenship and could be used by the couch of the Romanian national soccer team, Victor Piturca.
Maximilian Nicu applied for the Romanian citizenship three weeks ago and Monday morning the Romanian Justice Minister, Catalin Predoiu, signed the papers which conferred Nicu the Romanian citizenship.
The parents of Maximilian Nicu used to be Romanian citizens but in 1977 when they left Romania, they lost it.
Nicu performed in his career for SpVgg Unterhaching, Erfurt, Wehen Wiesbaden, Wacker Burghausen and he was bought last summer by Herta for 300.000 euro.
